CREAMY ROASTED GARLIC HUMMUS WITH PESTO AND CHILI SAUCE

INGREDIENTS:

2 15 oz. can of chickpeas (Trader Joe’s - One fully drained and one with liquid)

1/4 Cup fresh lemon juice

1/4 Cup water

1 Tbsp Olive Oil

1 Head of garlic (roasted at 350ºF for 15 minutes, or until fully roasted)

1 Tsp ground cumin

Salt to taste

1 Container of fresh pesto sauce (Trader Joe’s)

3 Tbsp garlic chili sauce (Asian aisle)

Sesame seeds for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.- Place all ingredients in a heavy duty blender, except for pesto, chili sauce, sesame seeds and 2 of the roasted garlic cloves. Blend until completely smooth and fully incorporated.

2.- Pour into a serving bowl.

3.- Add pesto sauce to the middle of it, making sure that you add plenty of the oil in the pesto.

4.- Circle around the pesto with the chili sauce for a nicer presentation.

5.- Arrange the 2 roasted garlic cloves in the middle.

6.- Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds

ENJOY with the chips of your choice.
